17 Jun Mother’s Day Blowout: Honoring Mother’s Unending Sacrifices
On May 14, 2022, Viva A Vida held a Mother’s Day celebration for mothers over 55 years old and their husbands at the Temple Brepub-122 Weston St. Brunswick Melbourne. This event is to honour the contribution of mothers and acknowledge the presence of maternal bonds and the role of mothers in our society.
As everyone knows, the key to a successful event is happy guests. And that’s precisely what we saw at our recent Mother’s Day event. The mothers and their husbands enjoyed delicious food and drink and spent quality time together. The whole event intended to end with a karaoke session; however, we changed the date and the venue to June 12, 2022.
It was very fulfilling to see the huge smiles on their faces as they chatted and shared stories. We often take our mothers for granted, especially the aged, and do not give them the time, especially after COVID. Many feel isolated. That’s why events like this are so important. It provides an opportunity for mothers to get out, socialize, and feel valued and appreciated. It was indeed an event to remember not just for the fun and festivities but also because it focused on the unending sacrifices and love that mothers bestow upon their children.
Viva A Vida is dedicated to providing love and support for everyone, no matter who they are or what circumstances have brought them there. We believe that all people deserve a chance at happy lives with someone special in their life – this includes those impacted by Domestic violence, which continues as one of the most alarming trends today.
We are indeed a small organization with the ability to help another five charity programs that reach out and touch more people in need. And we’re proud of our contribution towards these communities!
