Joint Activity with Australian Multicultural Community Services

Viva A Vida working together with Australian Multicultural Community Services (AMCS).

AMCS has over 35 years of experience in supporting older Victorians to live safely at home for as long as possible.

Coming Up Activities:


As you know we always looking for all options to help our community. We are working together with Australian Multicultural Community Services and they invited us to share their programs for seniors this time.

We, in the future will also try to have Capotherapy and Zumba.

The program will have low-impact exercises. The ongoing sessions are very popular with seniors to keep them healthy and better ageing for our multi-cultural communities.

This activities will will be online sessions on Zoom, so that anyone can join with just one click from the comforts of your homes.

When are these sessions held?


Every Wednesdays and Fridays
Time:
from 11 am to 12 noon
1st session will start Wednesday, 29th September 2021

The program will include:

  • Very basic movements to improve your flexibility and strength
  • Techniques to improve balance and coordination to prevent injuries from falls
  • Senior boxing and outdoor games to increase agility and flexibility

The program facilitator, Varuna, is a qualified Fitness Trainer from CALD background.
