Viva a vida is undoubtedly a vital institution for the community, not only Brazilians but of any nationality, without distinction. They don't measure efforts to help people from basic needs to even emotional and psychological support as well. Mrs. Weiss, Ester, is an extremely supportive and caring human being, always engaged in supporting people with basic needs as well as people who have been wronged and/or discriminated against. Without the Viva a Vida institution, foreigners (mainly students) in need in Australia would be culturally, emotionally and psychologically helpless, as there is still a lot of discrimination against foreigners in vulnerable situations here in Australia.

I cannot speak highly enough of Viva a Vida Foundation. Along with food and essentials for everyday living, you will find compassion, care, and a vibrant energy that lift one's spirit. The incredible lady at the centre of this amazing endeavour is "Big Boss" Ester - the 'big' is unmistakably a reference to her heart. Viva a Vida Foundation and its people are a blessing to the communities and people of Melbourne.

Extremely dedicated organization, volunteers willing to donate time to prepare food with the greatest care to distribute to those in need. I’m very proud of this foundation.
